About family0f4

Posted in family0f4 on Apr 15, 2008

Im not to sure how this works but im goin to give this a shot. I am a mother of 2 little boys ages 12 and 9. We just moved to cali about a year ago.I was transferred from Az to calif. My husband was employed for 13 years in az but then I got transfered here to calif.it was working ok for a little bit my husband was getting unemployment for a while then it stopped, and he wont be able to get it again until aug. so its just my paycheck we are living on..and even though I work 40 hours a week its still hardly covers every thing our rent is 1175.00 a month wich that we have to split into 2 payments so then we end up oweing late fees so that just makes it 60.00 more a month.plus with our utilities adds about another 200.00 to that. we are about 6 months behind on our car payment  and thats about another 3000.00 plus insurance and getting the tags registerd in cali.so we will be losing that anytime now..and thats our only means of transportation, So i will have to start walking to work.thankfully my boys get free lunch at there school or i dont know how i would feed them half the time..and as far as for food in the house there are times im so scared that we are not goin to have enough so i make sure my family is fed before i eat.My husband has so many qualities he was a Manager for 13 years and now comming down here he has tried every where to find a job and nothing is happening.. he managed apt complex he know word exel he knows tax credit he has so much experience and now its hurting him..But He is busting his butt to try to get a job and its just so hard with the economy right now..we are just at our witts end..we are at the point now where we are at risk of haveing our utilities and shut off and i just cant bare the thought of having to tell my kids that we dont even have the money to pay our bills. And yes we have gone to food pantries but they give very little and they  dont give you no meat,My husband and I stress alot because we just dont know what to do sometimes.we just take it day by day..we just know that one of these times we are not goin to be able to pay our bills and we are goin to get it shut off and not have the money to turn them back on and thats my biggest fear right now...getting caught up on our bills and getting back on our feet and my husband able to get a job would be a dream come true for us,thats is our biggest dream right now..Thank you for taking the time to read this and from the bottom of our hearts thank you.
